IEA Riding Teams

INTERSCHOLASTIC EQUESTRIAN ASSOCIATION RIDING TEAMS

Avon Valley Show Stables is proud to host successful Middle school (grades 4-8) and Upper school (grades 9-12) Interscholastic Equestrian Association riding teams.  You don’t need to own your own horse to participate! Riders travel to an IEA host barn, where a horse, which they have never ridden, is assigned, and show this animal to the best of their ability with minimal to no practice on that horse! Classes are offered for beginner walk-trot-canter riders up to advanced (Open).  Riders compete as Individuals and as part of the Team to earn enough points to advance to the “post season” – Regionals, Zones, and Nationals!
